Sustainable development ultimately means sustainable business. The stakeholders of business like consumers, investors have started expecting sustainability based accountability from business and government services. The customers are asking question on components of the product. Global institutions, especially banks are concerned about the waste disposal or what happens when the product is not in use. Investors are asking how the raw materials were extracted. Governments are imposing tax. As a consequence, policy makers, industry leaders, society and academics with different backgrounds are today trying to understand how sustainability affects traditional way of doing business, and, as well, how traditional businesses are affected by sustainability. Additionally, what roles can be played by Government?

The Sustainability Management Program (SMP) will address the topic of sustainability with a particular emphasis on the main drivers of the issue. The participants will be involved in an engaging debate that will cover different perspectives of the topic, including the economic, the environmental and the social dimensions.
